What is the length of the base of a parallelogram with altitude 5ft. and area 45 square ft.?

    the unit of length should be feet... not square feet. choose again...

    Area of a parallelogram = base \(\times\) altitude We are given area as 45 ft^2 altitude= 5ft so \[45=base \times 5\] base=9 feet but in the options it's given as 9 square feet. So none of the above is the answer
