This is the correct solution: -1 3/7 = -10/7 -3 2/3 = -11/3 Giving you: \[-10/7 * -11/3 = 110/21\] Which simplifies to 5 5/21, which is selection (D) in this problem. More importantly though, it is absolutely fine for two people to disagree on a solution and work together to figure it out. However, @jmay, your attitude was NOT helpful or understanding - which would have been bad but you were wrong. It's still unacceptable even if you're right.
