Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0The last answer: Identify children likely to have difficulty learning in regular school classes. This is known as the IQ test. It is taken to see how average a person's intelligence is. If a child in 3rd grade scores an average equal to that of a 5th grader, he is above average, and possibly a savant. If he scores average of that to a kindergartener, he has a learning disability. Savant: one who excels in one area of intelligence. A good book to read on an autistic savant is "Born on a Blue Day". I highly recommend it. (:
