2*4+3*4 = 8+12=20 >6, so it doesn't satisfy your inequality, right? I assume the shaded portion of the graph is what satisfies it, so it can't be D, nor can it be A. So between B and C, which one would you think it is? It can be smaller than 6, but not 6

You first need to pick dotted versus solid. The < sign means dotted. ≤ would mean solid
Then to pick which side of the line is shaded, pick a point as m_char suggested. (0,0) is always an easy choice.
If you use 0,0 you find 0< 6 so you know 0,0 should be in the shaded part.
Ohh, so that would still narrow it down between B and C and then since I need a dotted versus, it would be C!

Of the two dotted boundary graphs A and C, I tested the point (5,0). It should not be shade because 2(5) + 3(0) is not less than 6. That led me to graph C as the answer.
