All you do is plug x into the equation! :]
yeah then multiple -3 with -4
no answer is 10
A negative times a negative is a positive! so positive twelve :]
You all have me so confused >.< lol
(-3)(-4) is +12
12-2 is 10
Do you know your order of operation?
Did you see my drawing? I showed all the steps!
listen -3*-4 is positive 12
Yes I know order of operations >.< All of you keep telling me steps at different times
I was just trying to learn the steps.
understand now, thank you!
My drawing shows all the steps at one time :(
Kymber thank you!
when you substitute x=-3
you will need to use order of operation to evaluate
ie you need to multiply (-3)(-4) first
We were all telling you basically the same information.
