When a rectangular sheet of paper with length 8 cm is folded exactly into half, the ratio of its length to its width remains unchanged. If the square of the width of the original piece of paper = X cm2, find the value of x.

    width will be your new length, and the half of original length will be your new width ... i guess

    so x^2 = 8*4 = 32
