Which of the following best describes the slope of a vertical line?

    I vertical lines slope would be infinity because it goes on forever.

    The slope of a vertical line is undefined. This is because the slope is the rise divided by the run and a vertical line has a run of 0. Since we cannot divide by zero, the slope is undefined.
