Flan is the perfect desert for any occasion, because not only is it delicious, but it is so easy to make. Flan is a desert that originated in ancient Rome, but is now know greatly in Spanish culture. It is in a way, like Crème Brule, but the caramelized sugar is actually on the bottom. In Puerto Rico this dish is very popular. I make my flans by mixing eggs, sugar, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and salt. Then I caramelize the sugar, and pour the mixture on top of it. If you add cream cheese the flan will be more creamy and delicious. My grandmother taught me how to make it two years ago. Over the time I have spent making it I have learned neat little tricks to making it taste just a little more like heaven, and now I’m an expert. After people taste my flan they always ask me if they can buy it from me. The good thing is I get to make money off of something I love doing so it’s a win-win.

Your organization is good, just try not to be so sporadic in your idea transition... It seems a bit choppy to me because each paragraph is so short. Try to elaborate on the paragraphs to make a more continuous flow :)

I completely agree with Wombat, you also need to explain about how you make your flans. Instead of an emotionless way tell how you do it, put excitement, love, and care for your dessert. And put feelings into the paragraph when you talk about your grandmother, let people know you think about her fondly! Make sure you have good transitions to go to the next paragraph. Like... I quietly chuckle to myself as I see people biting into my flans and their first reaction is telling me how good it is then begging me to sell it to them! Like that :P

Hmm well... I make my flans by mixing eggs, sugar, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and salt. Then I caramelize the sugar, and pour the mixture on top of it. If you add cream cheese the flan will be more creamy and delicious. What comes to your mind when you hear the word Flan? Do you draw a blank? Think of pouring a whole bunch of ingredients into a few bowls and popping it into the oven? When I hear the word Flan, I see me careful measuring the different types of milk and carefully adding them with the eggs into one bowl. When I hear the word Flan, I see me pouring in some salt and sugar while sneakily taking a little taste test of the sugar to 'make sure its not spoiled' (idk if you want that since it could be unsanitary :P). Caramelizing the sugar! One of the best moments besides eating Flan. (Just put in how much pride you feel that you're able to do this and describe it like you would describe your favorite friend or a brother or sister you'll do fine :) and if you want I can come back tomorrow and check what you have) Finally, adding the cream cheese to the Flan to make it a melt-in-your-mouth creamy and delicious treat. That's what I think of when I think of Flan.

I'm not very knowledgeable about this dessert...however, I think that you should emphasize key points to make the flow vary. Like LifeIsADangerousGame said, add emotion to make the reader think that making Flan is the best!!

Flan is a desert that originated in ancient Rome, but is now know greatly in Spanish culture. It is in a way, like Crème Brule, but the caramelized sugar is actually on the bottom. In Puerto Rico this dish is very popular. I start my edible masterpieces by beating the eggs and the sugar, I mix condensed milk, evaporated milk, and salt into a bowl . Then I carefully caramelize the sugar by melting it in a pan, and pour the velvety mixture on top of it. Finally, adding the cream cheese to the Flan to make it a melt-in-your-mouth creamy and delicious treat. My grandmother taught me how to make it two years ago. Much better!! Immense improvement in my book :) Sentences in the first paragraph are still a bit sporadic to me... The sentence about Puerto Rico is a bit out of place... maybe try to lead into it somehow?

She is the one responsible for teaching me how to make it a couple years ago. Over the time I have spent making it in her kitchen and in mine, I have experimented and discovered neat little tricks to making it taste just a little more like heaven, and now I’m an expert. I always quietly chuckle to myself as I see people biting into my flans and their first reaction is telling me how good it is, and their second begging me to make for their birthday or just for their simple enjoyment! The awesome thing about it is I get to make money off of something I love doing so it’s like I'm not even working, defiantly a win-win.

Flan is a desert that originated in ancient Rome, but is now know greatly in Spanish culture, especially in Puerto Rico, where this dish is very popular. It is in a way, like Crème Brule, but the caramelized sugar is actually on the bottom, but when it’s set you flip it over like an upside down pineapple cake. I start my edible masterpieces by beating the eggs and the sugar, I mix condensed milk, evaporated milk, and salt into a bowl. Then I carefully caramelize the sugar by melting it in a pan, and pour the velvety mixture on top of it. Awesome Change!! I would word it like this: Flan is a desert that originated in ancient Rome, but it is now a popular part of Spanish culture, particularly/especially in Puerto Rico. Either way though... its good! :)

the way this developed was crazy! It's so much better now that it was before! I think its perfect, if you wanted to add anything more you could talk a bit more about your grandmother, add a sort of nostalgic feel to it. Why flan is important to you and her. What it means to your family. But it turned out very well!
