Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0A scientist hypothesized that one species of dinosaur was the ancestor of a later species of dinosaur. She then found fossil evidence in several places that this was so. Why can't her hypothesis become a scientific theory at this point? Answer A scientific theory explains a wide range of phenomena, and this does not. She needs to test her hypothesis further before it can become a theory. The hypothesis cannot become a scientific theory until it is published in a scientific journal. Too much evidence has accumulated supporting her hypothesis for it to be called a theory.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2ya thats what i thought cuz the evolutionary method is just that a theory until someone has real evidence of it that connects with it the become a fact thats all it is

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1The first answer is right. A hypothesis pertains to a specific thing like I'd hypothesise that my boyfriend forgot his lunch if I saw him buying lunch in the cafeteria. I would test that by looking through his office to see if his lunch bag was in it, or by going home and seeing if it still in the kitchen. A theory pertains to things in general like I would theorise that all boyfriends forget their lunches. I would test that by seeing how often men buy food in the cafeteria as compared to women, or by talking to their girlfriends, or whatever.
