What is the area of the kite?

    Kites are comprised of two triangles. Find the area of each individual triangle and add them up

    Area of bigger triangle = 0.5*4*20 = 40 Area of smaller section = 0.5*4*10 = 20 Area of kite = 60ft square

    since all kites are reflctionally symmeteric, you can just find the area of the rectangle. The kite will have the same area..: |dw:1335411617970:dw|
