Sean drew the figure on a coordinate grid as shown to represent the front portion of a conference room. Point E represents the position of one of the photographers in the room and point O represents the speaker at the podium. What is the shortest distance between point E and point O rounded to the nearest whole number? 8 17 6 16
@myininaya or @experimentX do you know this?
find the coodinates of E -> that is (3,-5) find the coordinate of O -> that is (0,0) now using distance formula between two points, the distance is \( \sqrt{(3-0)^2 + (-5-0)^2} = \sqrt{9 + 25} = \sqrt{34} \approx \sqrt{36} = 6 \) You should check out distance point formula!!
