if theres three layers of dirt and theres two fossils one on the top one on the bottom whats the diffrence

    The layers of dirt at the bottom are older than layers of dirt at the top. The fossils are the same age as the dirt they are in, so the fossils in the bottom layers are also older than the fossils in the top layer...
