Three Gorges Dam has displaced over a million people already. What is the future likely to be like for local citizens? Is the social turmoil over yet?

    The future might see further displacements as more long term environmental effects come to light from the usage of the dam. Just recently in April, it was reported that 100,000 more people may be moved because of the danger. The article talks about thousands of other potential sites due to landslides caused by the reservoir rising and falling so I don't think we've seen the end of their story yet.
