Dear Mods I have a few ideas for Openstudy that I would like to show you! Nothing too drastic but some things to make it fun for both learners and teachers!

    1. I think that a good idea would be to include monopoly money/fake money along with the medals that you usually earn. So when you earn a medal you will earn a specific amount of fake money. 2. From there you can take you fake money that you have saved up or earned from a question and use it at the OSS or Openstudy Store, this will allow you to buy things. 3. One of the main things i was thinking of just a small change was that you could buy like wallpapers for you background of your profile, to give you some freedom, of choice and allow for some fun in designing for students. For different subject there could be different wallpapers. Such as a Egyptian background for History, a lab with chemical viles for Biology, and then some algebraic expressions for math. 4. I believe that these ideas would make it more fun and enjoyable for students as well as teachers to both answer and put up questions. It could also pave the way for other fun ideas..

more editing for profile would be fun indeed...but the programming for the amount of money is kinda hard dont you think?

Essentially this will be a reward system for both tutors and students for their hard work. With the fake money and the OS store this will allow OS to reward its members without going through all the legal issues regarding a payment system with actually money.

@LoveYou*69 @mud116 You should absolutely *not* tag a bunch of moderators in a post like this. We check OpenStudy Feedback regularly anyway. :P

Great ideas folks, thanks so much, I love them :) This is something that we have talked about for a long time internally. We all want to do this, but there are more important things that we need to establish first. Take the example of picture borders: we were working on expanding them, then we got rid of levels and they were removed. So, my point is, once we have a very stable system that is helping us achieve both our users goals and the company's goals, we'll add a lot of fun stuff! However, I will never, ever, let this become like myspace :P
