i dont know much about the gov't.. but here it goes! so each branch should function on its own and do what it is suppose to do correctly and efficiently. however, the branches should be kept in check by each other so one does not gain too much power and it becomes unable to prevent it from making bad decisions. so i would write my paper like this Intro: state about which side you agree with; the judicial branch needs to be independent or accountable 1st paragraph: talk about why you think so, give examples of how it helps and how it could help 2nd paragraph: as my euro teacher likes to say," state the howevers" talk about the faults with your opinion and how it could not work. then state why you think your opinion is still the best despite its flaws 3rd paragraph: talk about changes that should be made to make the judicial system more accountable/ independent. talk about how these changes would benefit the system conclusion: restate your thesis; wrap up your paper in a couple of concluding sentences GOOD LUCK :)
