why muscle stretching increase affinity of troponin c for calcium?

    Loosely there are two reasons: 1. Structural changes in the troponin molecule itself which affect its affinity for calcium molecules and 2. Kinetic reasons to do with variations of intracellular calcium concentration through the muscle cell contraction cycle. Would you care for more details or were you interested in the general answer?
