    You add 4 triangles' area Topleft - 10*2/2 = 10 Topright - 10*2/2 = 10 Bottomleft- 20*2/2 = 20 Bottomright - 20*2/2 = 20 \[S=60ft^2\] Another solution (10+20)*(2+2)/2 is the kite's area (30)(4)=120 120/2=60 \[S=60ft^2\]
