So I see your profile shows your 3 most active groups. Since unofficial groups don't count to your smart score, should they be included in the 3 top most active groups? I mean I think it should show only the 3 official groups you are most active.

Hey myin, So currently unofficial groups *are* counting towards your score, but that won't be the case permanently. So, that's why they show up.

I think that helping other people out with questions they have about OpenStudy is a valid contribution towards SmartScore. Of course, I'm not entirely neutral on that. :P
