1. A public storage company charges new customers an initial fee of $10.50. Each month of storage costs $13.50. For how many months could a customer rent storage space for $301.00? 2. The time between a lightning flash and the following thunderclap may be used to estimate, in kilometers, how far away a storm is. How far away is a storm if 6 seconds elapse between the lightning and the thunderclap? Use the formula d =t/3, where t is the time, in seconds, between the flash and the thunderclap. For number 1. I got 21 months and for 2. I got 2 kilometers away. Is that right?

    1. If x= number of months rented, then\[C=10.50+13.50x=301.00\]I got just over 21 months, so I agree with your answer.
