    becoz producer is the only one who can trap solar energy and convert it inot chemical form sso that it can further be used by other organism that is carbohydrate

    producers transfers the chemical or photo energy to comsumable form.... without producers any food chain would not start.. moreover without producer the raw materials would never be transformed into edible form..

    and i think we cannot eat sunlight, nitogen etc directly?? I cannot eat bt if anybody else can... idk about them :P

    because they are the only one that can covert solar energy into carbohydrate which is taking up by other organisms up the food chain in the ecosystem.
