    use proportions so BC=5 and GH=10 since BC and GH are similar the ratio of shape 1 and shape 2 is 1:2 so AB=3 so mulitply that by 2 which would give you 6

    5/10=3/x Cross multiply 30=5(x) Divide by 5 on both sides 30/5=5x/5 x=6, which is your final answer
