    but whoah is this guy crazy ? He talks to himself as a theatrical device, eliminating the need for a commentator. The original staging would have been very simple. There wouldn't have been a balcony nor a light as props, so to convey the presence of some-one at the window Romeo talks to himself; a theatrical device
