Lines CD and DE are tangent to circle A shown below If arc CE is 126°, what is the measure of ∡CDE? 126° 63° 117° 54°
|dw:1338493954982:dw| can you tell me the measure of this angle?
I don't know how to find it :/
this angle measure is universal.. alright,,i'll tell you,,but you have to reach the ans yourself..i'll drop hints when you require.. a tangent always makes a 90 degree angle with the radius!!
Wait isn't the measure of the angle half the arc?
half the arc? which arc?? you're confusing with another property of circle.. just remember this :a tangent always makes a 90 degree angle with the radius!!
I don't get how you would find the angle measure
see,,CAED is a quadilateral..you know 3 angles of it..cant you find the 4th?
Would I subtract the three angles from 360?
yep.. well 2 of those are 90 degress,,(radius tangent angle),,one is 126(given the ques) just find the 4th,,thats what the ques asks you to do!
So would it be 54 degrees?
Thanks so much!<3
