    I'm pretty sure it's the release of energy because that's for chemical change.

    Yes, that's what threw me off to but no where in my book does it say that release of energy is physical change.

    That's alright. I'm just going to go with my answer because for Chemical Change is says that a sign for it is is the release or gain of energy and not for physical change.
