    I am confused on what to do with the 5A, I just multiplied the first one, which is -15.

    A = a set of 4 numbers; why would it only deal with one of them specifically?

    In my book, the matrix can also be specified as [a b c d] that's why I thought it was only dealing with that ONE number. -___-
