Human being are changing the world even though some of us are not noticing it. Thus, individuals are being kept out from achieving their dreams and their hopes. People that are treated unfairly has a cause and consequence of why inequality happen. By looking at the cause and consequence of social inequality, we can see that different types of race are blending and mixing with each other on a global level. Eventually there won’t be a race that people can consider pure. Evidence of social inequality are socio economic status, social class and social mobility. Racism has been around ever since people started living in a civilization. Without people, racism would not exist. Racism has always been part of the human life regardless of when and where the individual lived. It has started ever since human ever existed. When human migrated, each of the individual change and started to have different characteristics from other humans. This became a huge impact of the world because it has cause major problem such as war and slavery. Slavery has a huge impact on a global level. It became a significant to other nation by selling slave or using slave for free labor such as the United States. It became so evident, that a war was unleash in the U.S which was the Civil War. The Civil War was the conflict of the North (Union or United States) and the South (Confederate). Conflict between the North and the South was whether if the south should become a slave state and continue having slavery in the south it was all due because slaves (Africans) were not equal to the whites. The most important for a society is the way of life, an stable job and a very good health ensure, therefore according to Wikipedia, social inequality has to do with certain groups of people whom do not have the same social status, social class and other social service. In addition, social inequality includes the right of voting, freedom of speech, inappropriate way of life, job inequality, and housing. Age discrimination also affects society very deep. Social inequality exists because the lack of wealth in certain areas prohibits these people from obtaining the same housing, health care, etc. as the wealthy, in societies where access to these social goods depends on wealth. Unfortunately, there are so many people that because they don’t know their right, they have to confront uncomfortable situation. For example, there are people that even though they have their whole life working in this country, they can even get a chance to buy a house because they are scare of losing what they have earned in such as long time just because they are lack of information. Another example social inequality is the education. In order for people to have a better life, people have to attend college but sometimes college is not for everybody because people have to be in the middle. If people are too poor they would not be able to apply because they may not be eligible and if the person work and pass a certain amount it would also be a problem because it me be too high for the tuition which means that maybe that person cannot eligible to attend college. On the other hand, health is also an issue for some people who don’t have an stable job. Even for those who don’t have a job is also a very difficult to get. Finally, racial inequality is also the most terrible racial distinction between races of people which this include color or and physical appearance. Age discrimination is also a way of social inequality because it has to do with job placement or unfair treatment in promotion or recruitment. Sociological imagination is the ability to see things socially and how they interact one to another, for example, in order for a person to be able to be out of from situation and have their own point of view, it requires to think for themselves away from daily routines acquire knowledge that would help them stop the routine. In addition, sociological imagination is the capacity to shift from one perspective to another. Finally, one of the advantage of sociological thinking is that by using the quality of mind that a person have, it would help him or her to use valuable and important information and develop better understand the world and what may be happening in the future to themselves. Socio-economic status is an economic and sociological combined total measure of a person's work experience and of an individual's or family’s economic and social position in relation to others, based on income, education, and occupation. The social economic of America is a direct interrelation to the social inequality in this country. This structure is going to explain how racial diversity interacted with others such as employment, housing and education. Socio economic status shows us statuses of people in their economy are doing in their community. This will show how life was like in the past and even today. Socio economic status shows groups or individuals in the economic structure. Socio economic status affect everyone overall. People such as immigrants and women have an impact with this structure. Inequities in wealth and quality of life for women are long standing and exist both locally and globally. Usually, people with low economic status tend to have its correlation, such as poverty, lower education and poor health for families, presently affect our society as a whole. The united states for example is base on a capitalist government which they are a free enterprise. Social economic status could be compare in many different ways. Social economic status has a great big change in social inequality. Some African Americans and Hispanic all went through it and it still goes on today. After the civil war, Plessy v Ferguson was Supreme Court decisions that uphold constitutionality of state laws requiring racial segregation in public facilities also known as “separate but equal”. Meaning that African American and white are separated but treated equally. Whites rationalized this acceptable treatment that would keep them from having to interact with African-Americans, whom they saw as inferior and undesirable. In reality, the mere fact of segregation ensured African American could never be as equal, lower facilities, and service. Education, Housing, occupation and the gap between the rich and the poor are causes of the socio economic status. Education was an important factor for survival in general. With an education, you can change and become a successful. the important thing of socio economic status, education will get you to a better housing, and occupation care. If you have more income, then you will be in a higher rank as opposed to an individual or family that has a lower income. This is true with the other area factors-education and occupation. Social effects can be wide ranging in size, anywhere from local effects on a small community to changes to an entire society. Examples of socioeconomic impacts include new technologies such as cars, computers or mobile phones, changes in laws, change in the physical environment ( such as increasing crowding within cities), and ecological changes ( such as prolonged drought or declining fish stocks). These may affect patterns of consumption, the distribution of incomes and wealth and the way in which people behave. SES will hinder social inequality, social stratification, and status attainment, etc. Social mobility is the ability of individuals or groups to move upward or downward in status based on wealth, occupation, education, or some other social variable. The social mobility of America is a direct correlation to the social inequality in this country. Social mobility will prove how individuals or groups move upward or downward in a biracial community or country. Evidence of social mobility will show how progress changes in a period of time and how people move up to a higher class or down to a lower class. In the United States, not so many people became to the upper class but most of them are in the middle class. Middle class is the one that actually makes the United States economy in to a stable economy. The poor class is dependent on the middle class and the middle class is the dependent on the upper class. These three social classes are the ones that make America today. Today in American, mobility is lower and harder to move up into a middle or upper class compare to other nations. Education has a huge impact in the United Stated because without it, you will end up going to a lower class. Thus, that all depends on the community you live in. Living in a poverty environment, will have the lack of knowledge that you need to know. Poverty is a big an issue to the nations. When poverty is around your neighborhood, the lack of minimum food and shelter necessary for maintaining life. It is estimated that more than 35 million Americans—approximately 14 percent of the population live in poverty. In this culture of poverty—which passes from generation to generation in their communities and the poor feel negative, inferior, passive, hopeless, and powerless. The main cause of it is those who don't have enough money for housing, food, clothing, health and education because of wealth. Some country might start the cause because some rich country exploits the poor. Rich country such as Saudi Arabia has its extremely valuable natural resources. When a country has so many poverty in it, the country is most likely a third world country and lacks of natural resources. Putting the country down, will affect the people that are living in that certain country. Cuba for example has so many poverty and one of the main reasons is because the United States has an embargo. The highest salaries in the country are only 4 times the amount of the lowest salaries. Castro focused his policies on destroying the middle and upper classes and eliminating the abject poverty of the lowest classes and in some ways he was successful. People suffer from poverty and with the suffer the country goes down with it. In order to change the structure of social mobility is to have the nation work together to prevent poverty. Poverty levels in the inner cities tend to be higher, schools tend to be worse, educational achievements tend to be lower. With more time the government of the United States can lead out some of the poverty by providing welfare, providing more housing and publics works jobs. Changing the poverty level will have an impact of the economy because it will show more people will go up to middle class and there would be less poor people. A social status hierarchy in which individuals and groups are classified on the basis of esteem and prestige acquired mainly through economic success and accumulation of wealth. Social class may also refer to any particular level in such a hierarchy. Examples of those people who live a pleasant life is powerful people such as the president, Bill Gates, Mayor Bloomberg (NY) and etc. In the case of the middle class, people live well because they have to have college education or be professionals in order for them to live a comfortable live. For instance, those people who belong to middle class are those who are lawyers, doctors, and maybe teachers. The working class people are not professionals but they may be trained by vocational schools. Those working class people can be working as an electrician, truck driver, factory worker or even clerical workers. Finally, the poor people are those who do not have any kind of education which lead them to lack of skills. Therefore, they don’t have the possibility of having a comfortable life. For instance, those people work for the minimum wage jobs or they may not have a job. Sometimes their situation may not be easy because if they work, they work very hard, long hours and for less money and with no benefit. In addition, when they don’t work, they have to live in inadequate places, where they have no food or even clothes to wear. Impact of social class. When people don’t have an education or a higher education life can be a little difficult. The working class has the possibility of a least have their children in public schools, have them with good insurance and live in an adequate shelter. On the other hand, the poor class is different because they don’t have any kind of education or skills; therefore, their situation is more uncomfortable. For instance, they may not have an adequate job which leads to not having a dissent place to live, not progress in school, and maybe no adequate medical condition. Although sometimes it does not matter if you have an education or not. Just by looking at yourself and background, people will judge you and think that you’re in a lower class as them. According to the article Invisible Man by Lawrence Otis Graham. This nonfiction article is about an African American man working undercover as a busboy. Lawrence is not really invisible but the people in a country club, don’t notice how educated he is at first. Also he is also grouped with the Hispanic that is also busboy instead of working with the whites. Lawrence is going undercover as a busboy that makes $7 an hour when he is truly a lawyer that makes $105,000 a year. The correlation between the social inequality and social class is that both refer to individual or groups that do not have the same social status or social class. For example, freedom of speech, inadequate health care’s education, housing and job dissatisfaction. Social class exist because society is divided among diverse classes depend on their income level, place they live, occupation and education. Social class is a group of people in society that present a similar socioeconomic status, and social inequality is a situation in which individual groups in a society do not have equal social status, social class, and social circle. Social class has been around for over 10,000 year ago. The reason of this cause is because of collect of taxes. During the French Revolution, there were three estates. The first estate First Estate which included the Catholic Clergy, the Second Estate which consisted of the French Nobles and the Third Estate which was the commoners who represented to 98% of the population and own least of the land. The third estate was the one who had to pay the most taxes than the second and first estate. Another example is when the English start taxing the seven colonies. Not to mention money is one of the main reasons why social class has happen in our history but also by the community you live in and clothes. Consequences of social class happened throughout history. If there is a cause there must be a consequence. Consequence usually happens when a certain social class in being treated unfairly. The consequence can become hazardous when it comes unfairly treating a race or social class equally as the other. During the French revolution, the third estate declares itself the national assembly and wrote themselves a new constitution. The main significance of the French revolution was the reign of terror which be headed the king and queen (first estate). This happen because the French was being unfairly equally from the second and first estate. According to (gualdian.com) professional parents social class has greater impact on how well Children do in school than those parents who are lower class. The reason is that professional Parents have the time and the money to help their children academically. Children have more support and time to study after school or with a private tutor. Based on the article, children from Professional parents were eight months ahead from the lower class home where parents have no Jobs, no education and no skills. The only way we can change the lower social class to middle social class is by preparing ourselves and our children. By getting an educating, we can have the opportunity to obtain a better way of life, better jobs and better health care. In this way, we can also have our dream come true by having a nice house, a beautiful car and live in a dissent neighborhood. In addition, the first step to succeed in getting this kind of life is by going to school and be professionals. Then, we should start saving for the education of our children so they can have a comfortable life too. Finally, people who don’t get educated or don’t educate their children won’t be able to change poverty.

A good conclusion would be: In summary, there are many issues affecting income inequality in the United States. It is therefore necessary that people understand how tasking it will be to tackle this issue. Now, do you have a thesis statement?

add this if this is good enough Low SES and its correlates, such as lower education, poverty, and poor health, ultimately affect our society as a whole. Inequities in wealth distribution, resource distribution, and quality of life are increasing in the United States and globally. Society benefits from an increased focus on the foundations of socioeconomic inequities and efforts to reduce the deep gaps in socioeconomic status in the United States and abroad. Behavioral and other social science professionals possess the tools necessary to study and identify strategies that could alleviate these disparities at both individual and societal levels.
