He sold the rest making a profit of $2 on each toy. Write down an expression, in terms of x, for the total sum of money he has received from selling the toys. c. Given that the merchant made a total profit of $60 on the whole transaction, form an equation in x and show that it reduces to x^2-40x-6000=0 d. Solve the equation to find the number of toys the merchant bought.
