    What is half the maximum gain of a simple low-pass filter?

      Hi Deathfish :) How are you dear :D Let us suppose you are refering to first order low pass filter. So you can find gain using its equation. Vout/Vin Gain will be max if your Capcitor reactance will be high. I am not getting what are you asking by saying half the max gain
