Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0First we would distribute 2(x+8) and get 6=2x+165x. Now we will combine like terms and get 6=3x+16. After this, we will subtract 16 on both sides and get 10=3x. Once we divide both sides by 3, we get x=10/3. At least that's what I got.
