    Put everything on one side And also multiply 5 on both sides

    \[x=\frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}\] That right there is the quadratic formula --- It is to be used whenever you have something in this form: \[ax^2+bx+c=0\]
