    RNA were formed before DNA,hence they wer the first formed genetic material ...just lyk DNA they can also store gentic infrmations.......nd can also catalyze reactions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RNA_world_hypothesis check this link:)

    DNA storage information, and RNA is a copy of it, then RNA can be translated into proteins
