you will need to solve two inequalities: \(\large 2x+4<10 \) and \(\large 2x+4=10 \)

The way I always do these problems is separate it into two cases: when 2x+4 is positive, and when 2x+4 is negative. Then just solve each, and there you go.

that second one should be: \(\large 2x+4>10 \)
