how to translate a given sentence into an equation for example..the quotient of six more than a number and the number is 20.

    the quotient of (six more than a number, and the number) is 20 => the quotient of (six more than a number, and the number) is 20 => the quotient of (x+6, x) is 20 => (x+6)/x = 20
