Visualizing why polarized filters work: What does the cycling of electromagnetic waves look like graphically? (i.e.: the wave property of light) Well, something like this: http://blackholeformulas.com/files/sinr10.gif I'll draw a sketch here in a moment since I can't seem to figure out how to add layers to an animated gif image...
