HELP! the dimensions and shape of a rectangular volleyball are shown in a picture. what is the approximate distance of a serve that is hit diagonally from one corner of the court to the other?

    |dw:1343067951326:dw| Use Pythagorean Theorem to find the length of the diagonal: a^2+b^2=c^2 so c^2=9^2+18^2=81+324=405 so c is the square root of 405, which is 9 root 5.
