    Half of 12 is 6. 6 -1 is 5, thus, the triangles are confruent :P

    Here's "your' work- Segment RS is equal to Segment VT Segment RV is equal to ST Segment RV is 5 Segment ST is also 5 1/2x-1=5 5 + 1/(1/2) = x x = 12 THere you go...:)
