it wants you to find the perimeter so you have to first find the hypotenuse

the triangle is made up of two smaller triangles so you have to find the hypotenuse of one of them

since the bottom of both triangles combined is 16, what is the length of only one of those smaller triangles? HINT: its half of the bottom value

okay, so, you have a and b now find c. A=8 and b=15. find C. dont forget to square them

okay, so what is the length of the hypotenuse or one of the smaller triangles?

yup so now you have the value of the bottom of the triangle and the value of both sides. To find the perimeter you have to add the values of all the sides. So whats the perimeter of the triangle?
