got $2x \sqrt{2y}$

3. sai1234

y can be writen as root(y)*root(y)

4. vf321

Let me first start off by saying that you have an amazingly original username. Anyways, the key simplification here has to do with rationalization of the denominator.

5. mathslover

$\LARGE{\frac{y}{x}\sqrt{\frac{1}{2y}}}$ $\LARGE{\frac{y}{x}\frac{\sqrt{1}}{\sqrt{2y}}}$

6. vf321

So as the guy above me showed, You get sqrt(y)/(x*sqrt(2)*sqrt(y))

7. vishweshshrimali5

@helpme9283 are u giving some test...... You should tell what u have tried so far.........

8. vf321

sqrt y 's cancel, and to rationalize the sqrt two you multiply the numerator and denom by root 2

9. vishweshshrimali5

@vf321 @mathslover Please wait untill he submits his own solution........... Our work is to help and not to answer....

10. helpme9283

got |dw:1343747583084:dw|

11. vf321

good job

12. vishweshshrimali5

Gud work............ :)

13. vf321

@vishweshshrimali5 review my answers. How was i not directing him?

14. vishweshshrimali5

@vf321 I am not blaming u....... I just want @helpme9283 to submit his own solution first so that we can see where is he going wrong........

15. mathslover

$\LARGE{\frac{y}{x}\frac{1}{\sqrt{2y}}}$ $\LARGE{\frac{y}{x}(\frac{1*\sqrt{2y}}{2y})}$ $\LARGE{\frac{y}{x}(\frac{\sqrt{2y}}{2y}})$ JUST A HINT .. @helpme9283 please upload what you got?

16. mathslover

ok so u did .. sorry didn't see but good work

17. vf321

Lol @mathslover we beat you to it by like a minute...

18. mathslover

..sorry was busy... :D @vf321
