where do you need help?
first of all the parabola definitely opens up indicated by x^2
because it is positive x^2 whereas if it was -x^2 then you would know it is an upside down parabola or opens down.

I need helping showing work for vertex and x intercept
ok, to find the vertex(turning point) simply we need to factorize the equation first.
do you know how to do that?
And if the vertex is max or min. And no I do not.
vertex is definitely a minimum because the graph is opening upwards.
|dw:1344039832324:dw|
that's an example
it's opening upwards so there's a minimum.
opposite applies so opening downwards, there is a maximum
okay.
guys you mind if I help here too?
The more the better!
look at the graph that has been drawn.
ok, I'll leave it to u @godorovg
no, I could use the help please stay
I can not draw like you
Please help me find the vertex and x intercept!
okay
first I am trying to help with this question only, what do you know about the vertex already?
nothing really.
that is alright, let's take this slow than.
one min
in order to what you are asking we must do something to complete square
let me ask have you ever done this before for finding the vertex?
nope
I am going to use a visual aide here to show you how this done, I went out on the web and found step by step how to do this.
please watch this you tub video here : ► 4:51► 4:51 www.youtube.com/watch?v=niHBt4rkavA
