I will have to work through this myself in a few, but the last line confuses me, \[\Large \lambda^2 3=0 \] Algebraically you shouldn't get any complex roots there.

@amistre64 the work from the previous problem is provide in my work the previous just asked for the vritical points and values for x and y which is on the attachment with my work
