- anonymous

- anonymous

Yay! Thank you so much!

- anonymous

first I must must request a better scan of the problem so I can read it plz..

- anonymous

the drawing is the vector with the angle does this make sense to you?

- anonymous

now with the mag being at 6feet and the angle that forms 25 degree angle what do we know about this?

- anonymous

Hmm, yes. So far it's making sense.

- anonymous

hint take the vector as drawn and make triangle.

- anonymous

after drawing the triangle where would the angle be on it, if 25 degrees is theda

- anonymous

So downwards :/

- anonymous

yes

- anonymous

now think about this, what is megattude at 6feet tells ?

- anonymous

I'm not sure what angle

- anonymous

what type of triangle did you form?

- anonymous

An isosceles?

- anonymous

yes

- anonymous

brb phone

- anonymous

Ok thanks :)

- anonymous

You there?

- anonymous

@godorovg

- anonymous

okay back now

- anonymous

sorry about the wait ..

- anonymous

Oh no problem, just had to make sure you were still here :)

- anonymous

call the search I am back lol

- anonymous

Haha

- anonymous

be honest with me are really understanding what I am telling you?

- anonymous

So far... Kinda. But it really helps how you're helping me step by step

- anonymous

okay what is unclear to you? explain plz

- anonymous

So just to be clear, you drew the vector with the angle which can make an isosceles triangle. So now what?

- anonymous

if you read the problem it states there is a vector that has a 25 degree angle and maga of 6 feet. So, I took the what the problem and drew it out as to what the problem is asking for. The drawing is not to scare and could be a little off, but the point was to show you what it was saying

- anonymous

Oh o.k. Now I fully understand. So now, to solve

- anonymous

the reason for me having you form a triangle is to get you not so scared of the vector is all

- anonymous

because vectors are scary things if you don't know them

- anonymous

well to solve this problem, I want you to try to tell me what step should be next? I won't be there when are you tested on this. Just try and I will guide you

- anonymous

what does the problem want to know??

- anonymous

hint pick out key points needed to solve, forget the rest.

- anonymous

so we have angle 25 degrees and 6ft and the answers are 2. something so if this is trig what should be done now I would think we should considers sin or cos of 6times what you say?

- anonymous

so in other words 6sin(25)=

- anonymous

Just a sec

- anonymous

2.53

- anonymous

does that match the answer choice given?

- anonymous

Yes! Wow, thank you so very much :) And I understood your explanation from above

- anonymous

your so welcome, bare with me is all I ask. Because I am trying to teach you and not give answers

- anonymous

Yes, I agree :) I will.
