    okay let us take this one x/7-8=-10 now here is how I would do this First take the -8 and add 8 to the -10 so now we have this x/7=-10+8 than take this and do the sub to get -2 so now we have x/7=-2 once you have than take the seven ant times to the two so now we have X= -14 like that

    i personally think if one is confident with that particular question, and skipping a little steps is alright, just don't skip major ones, step on scrap papers, yes you can skip, but steps in exams, no.

    than once the it is clear, work the problem by typing it out in words and than draw it like you were doing. In the typing step by step always so the student can see what is happening where

    sometimes it won't matter if draw the problem if student doesn't get what is going on. So that is why I type it out in all steps
