    okay let us take this one x/7-8=-10 now here is how I would do this First take the -8 and add 8 to the -10 so now we have this x/7=-10+8 than take this and do the sub to get -2 so now we have x/7=-2 once you have than take the seven ant times to the two so now we have X= -14 like that

    sometimes people skip unintentionally, you know, they calculate in their head, and skipped a few steps, sometimes they don't notice it.

    i personally think if one is confident with that particular question, and skipping a little steps is alright, just don't skip major ones, step on scrap papers, yes you can skip, but steps in exams, no.

    i just tell myself be considerate, and help the techer go through the papers as smoothly as possible, work hard for years just to make sure i won't skip anything.

    than before you do any of the work have them show you what they know about that problem already and ask to see what they are having trouble with

    than once the it is clear, work the problem by typing it out in words and than draw it like you were doing. In the typing step by step always so the student can see what is happening where

    sometimes it won't matter if draw the problem if student doesn't get what is going on. So that is why I type it out in all steps

    for example this x/7-8=-10 the student wasn't getting it the whole thing that is why I typed out the steps to show that they are making it too hard.
