first off tell me are there a like terms what I mean numbers with X's with them?

with the x terms in my drawing we can bu them together like this 8x-2x+10+9

is this making sense to you??

so now what 8x-2x=?

-10

the 8 was supposed to be -8

so then -10x+10+9=9?????

okay -8x-2x=-10 good now add the 10+9 together and we have?

-10x=10+9

oh i know how to do that! but what about stuff like -2-x-x and x+x+x+10

in other words when you an X unless there a number in front think one. But not when there X^2 no.

okay what about -3x-x+7x-12+x-20, -11y+4x+y-x, and -8 times -8x +9x-4 times 4x+6

only about this part only -3x-x+7x-12+x-20

okay I see something that equals =0 off the bat in X's
