Alrighty, lets get some ideas churning. The first things that spring to mind for me is that history is important so that we don't repeat it! What ideas do you have?

No worries, what have you written so far? You could start with writing (1) Your idea then (2) explain it a little (3) give example (sentence or more each)

What makes history important ? History is important because we are history . Without it we could not prevent future mess ups that may have happened in your personal experiences . History is facts or observations . Thats really all history and life is , facts and experiences . Imagine if the Japanese didn't bomb Pearl Harbor or if Adolf Hitler never thought of the Holocaust . Thats our world history . Personal experiences come into play in history .

Alright well you can expand your paragraph into a few more. I'll put changes and comments in brackets like this: [] It feels a little like your paragraph has a few ideas in it, they say you should only write one idea per paragraph, so i'll start you off by breaking up your paragraph :) Sorry I made so many changes, you really have made a good start :) [Idea 1: History makes us who we are] History is important because we are history. Imagine if the Japanese didn't bomb Pearl Harbor or if Adolf Hitler never thought of the Holocaust . Thats our world history . [Maybe write something about how this would have changed us]. History is facts or observations . That's really all history and life is , facts and experiences [that change who we are?]. [Idea 2: With history we can help prevent future mistakes] Without it we could not prevent future mess ups that may have happened in your personal experiences. [Can you think of an example from your personal experiences? It could be something as simple as "I learnt not to leave baked beans in the oven too long after I burnt them", though thats a silly example :P]

History is important because we are history. Imagine if the Japanese didn't bomb Pearl Harbor or if Adolf Hitler never thought of the Holocaust . Thats our world history . This probably the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II was the culmination of a history of racial discrimination against Asians when the Chinese first immigrated to the U.S. . They were welcomed as cheap labor but soon the Japanese became apart of a anti-Asian campaigns. History is facts or observations . That's really all history and life is , facts and experiences [that change who we are?]

With bracketed points (read this): History is important because we are history . Imagine if the Japanese didn't bomb Pearl Harbor or if Adolf Hitler never brought about the Holocaust . That's [Careful, if you could imagine it says "That is" you need the apostrophe] our world history . The incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II was the culmination of a history of racial discrimination against Asians when the Chinese first immigrated to the U.S. . They were welcomed as cheap labor but soon the Japanese became apart of a anti-Asian campaigns . [Not sure you need that last part, it isn't really relevant] This previous history determined how they were treated later on [Just wrote this sentence to "wrap it up" ]. Without brackets: History is important because we are history . Imagine if the Japanese didn't bomb Pearl Harbor or if Adolf Hitler never brought about the Holocaust . That's our world history . The incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II was the culmination of a history of racial discrimination against Asians when the Chinese first immigrated to the U.S. . @TranceNova With history we can help prevent future mistakes] Without it we could not prevent future mess ups that may have happened in your personal experiences. In my personal experiences i learned that doing something dramatic, memorable , or just plain simple as : "I learnt not to leave baked beans in the oven too long after I burnt them " . In my experiences i remeber when i ran and fell on my face . I basicly almost chipped my two front teeth witch made my teeth shift causing me to get braces . Thats my personal history with history .

For when you hand this in don't forget to removed my remarks in the brackets :) Without history we could prevent future mistakes [sounds a little better than "mess ups"] that may have happened in the past. In my personal experience I learned that doing something dramatic, memorable , or just plain simple as : "I learnt not to leave baked beans in the oven too long after I burnt them " [It is not clear what you mean with this sentence] . In my experiences I remember when I ran and fell on my face . I basically almost chipped my two front teeth witch made my teeth shift causing me to get braces . This meant that in the future I learnt run more carefully. That's [those apostrophes again] how my personal history changed my future .
