I'm currently doing an assignment. One of the points to be discussed is: Digital Arithmetic Circuits and principle of Operation of simple Calculators. Can anyone break it down to what is required to included in this Point ? Thank you.

    How the functions of a simple calculator can be performed using digital arithmetic circuits? With keeping in mind the accuracy and the time to compute it.

    There is a basic unit called Flip-flop. Another one is Adder. The last one is SHift-by-one-place. These 3 operations can produce any arithmetic on binary numbers
