So why is my smart score stuck at 56? I am a teacher who answers questions but my smart score has just stalled?

LOL I'm pretty sure you WILL be stuck at 99 forever...I don't think anyone passes that....it's a two digit rating from my understanding

I believe its actually a /relative/ rating based on percentages. So 100 is the highest you can get.

As amistre and asnaseer pointed out, scores are (more or less) relative to all other users in the site. There are a couple of natural slow points that form because, in some respects, you're partly competing with other users. Someone else's score going up could cause yours to go down and so on.

I think, only the SS of 100 can be held by one person at a time right? In order for that, you need to work the tails offa you to beat @satellite73 !

Correct. 100 is reserved for the top user, so to pass 99 you'd have to beat satellite. I'll reveal just enough about the internal scores to say that that is going to be incredibly difficult, as he has an ungodly high internal score.
