    x – 2y = 8 2x + 4y = 12 x – 2y = 8 2x – 4y = 12 x + 2y = 8 2x + 4y = 12 x + 2y = 8 2x – 4y = 12

so the first one won't work because one has a slope of -1/2 and the other +1/2

so option two might work because they have the same slope +1/2
