The greater of to numbers is 1 more than twice the smaller. 3 times the greater number exceeds 5 times the smaller by 10. I just need the equation THANKS

    Let the smaller number be x and greater be y Now y=2x+1 3y=5x+10

    Substitute the value of y from 1st equation in second equation!
