Angelica does 20 abdominal crunches every morning and has a bowl of high-fiber cereal for breakfast. How can she apply the principle of overload to her routine to help her performance? Allow a day of rest between sessions. Hold a dumbbell on her chest as she does the crunches. Maintain proper form as she does the crunches. Add more protein to her typical breakfast.
