## hartnn 3 years ago if 2*2*2 = 10 3*3*3 = 33 4*4*4 = ? 5*5*5 = 175.

1. hartnn

easy for many, new concept for some.

2. hartnn

@mathslover @ParthKohli @sauravshakya

3. hartnn

@EulerGroupie

4. sauravshakya

I think I got it

5. sauravshakya

6. hartnn

7. sauravshakya

4*4*4=100

8. hartnn

yup, told ya, its easy.

9. sauravshakya

Ya.

10. hartnn

i need to think of something more tricky...

11. sauravshakya

Yep.....

12. hartnn

still lets see whether others could find the logic...

13. sauravshakya

But I must u are good at making question

14. sauravshakya

say^

15. hartnn

i try to make others think.....

16. sauravshakya

Ok

17. sauravshakya

thats good

18. EulerGroupie

I got it too... 100 6*6*6=330

19. hartnn

thats correct :)

20. sauravshakya

Now, any one who gets it give the value of 7*7*7

21. Aryang

see my ques people..

22. Aryang

puzzle ques that is..

23. hartnn

let me know when u all want me to reveal the logic.

24. Aryang

i want to know,,hmm..

25. EulerGroupie

527

26. EulerGroupie

oops, you probably meant those that didn't already get it.... sorry

27. EulerGroupie

so 8*8*8 should be a snap!

28. hartnn

8*8*8 does not even exist!

29. EulerGroupie

aren't we talking base 8 numbers here... octal?

30. mathslover

hint?

31. hartnn

yes! so octal numbers are 0 to 7 only. so 8 does not exist. thats the logic :OCTAL multiplication.

32. EulerGroupie

your pattern looked like multiplying base 10 numbers, then converting to octal.

33. EulerGroupie

but, I guess that is a matter of interpretation once you hit 8

34. hartnn

ohh...that would work... gut i wouldn't have asked 8*8*8 after 7*7*7, i would have asked 10*10*10....

35. hartnn

*but

36. hartnn

anyways....i would close this to give another one....

37. EulerGroupie

this was fun! thank you @hartnn
