EulerGroupie Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0

EulerGroupie Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
so 8*8*8 should be a snap!

hartnn Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.3
8*8*8 does not even exist!

EulerGroupie Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
aren't we talking base 8 numbers here... octal?

hartnn Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.3
yes! so octal numbers are 0 to 7 only. so 8 does not exist. thats the logic :OCTAL multiplication.

EulerGroupie Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
your pattern looked like multiplying base 10 numbers, then converting to octal.

EulerGroupie Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
but, I guess that is a matter of interpretation once you hit 8
 2 years ago

hartnn Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.3
ohh...that would work... gut i wouldn't have asked 8*8*8 after 7*7*7, i would have asked 10*10*10....

hartnn Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.3
anyways....i would close this to give another one....
